"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."  ~Psalm 119:105

We are a family with ten children, six of whom played music with the family until 2019 when the last two sons left to serve the United States in the Marine Corp.

The Lord called our family into this music ministry in the fall of 2007 when we heard a Bluegrass band play music at a local church. It was there our parents got the "vision" from God to play music together as a family. Knowing that instruments can be costly, we began seeking God's face through much prayer and then, at the Lord's leading, our mother began baking freshly ground whole wheat bread and selling it at a local shop throughout the winter months. Boy, did we bake a lot of bread! Our mom was pregnant with our youngest sister at the time, too. By June of 2008 we had enough money saved to purchase the instruments to see this vision become reality.

We stepped into The Bluegrass Shack in New Athen, Illinois and met Chris Talley for the first time. A few hours and many instruments later, we were on our way down a road which we had no idea where it would lead. Chris is the leader of The Chris Talley Trio and has been our teacher, mentor and friend throughout these past years. Her experience and guidance have been a blessing to our family on this journey.

We have played at numerous churches, festivals and homes for the aged. It is such a blessing to be used by God in such an amazing way!

Our story still continues on as we pray, practice, prepare and plan for each event that God opens up for our family. The Lord has blessed each of our children with the ability to play their instrument for His Glory. Many competitons have seen our children walk away feeling happy to have placed-Our oldest son in the band, Lucas, has been blessed with the title of Illinois State Junior Banjo Champion for 2012, 2013 and 2014, which he has earned humbly through hours of practice and prayer. We are very proud of him and thank Jesus for the gift he has given him with banjo playing.

In October of 2016 Lucas left for

Basic Training in the United States Navy.

(see note at the bottom of this page)

Please keep Lucas in prayer as he seeks God and serves our country.

Back in 2014 the Lord placed on our hearts to make a Gospel CD.

We prayed and prayed and layed it at our Savior's feet. The Lord opened up in March of 2014 for our family to begin recording our first CD called "The Old Fashioned Preacher".

He brought Mr. Monty Jackson into our lives as well. Monty is a very talented and Godly man. He is also an amazing vocalist and a four time Angel award winner. The experience of Mr. Jackson and the making of our first CD was a huge blessing to our family. We continue to pray that this CD will be a way to reach God's people to encourage them in their daily walk and plant seeds to those who do not yet know the Lord. Keeping on with the Traditional Gospel Bluegrass music theme helps keep this genre of music alive to all who listen.

Please click on our "CD" tab for ordering!!

During the recording of "The Old Fashioned Preacher," our father was diagnosed with two medical conditions, including a type of blood cancer which causes him to tire easily. His health is in God's hands and we pray daily for the Lord's comfort and healing. He is currently being treated in St. Louis and continues to play the bass in our band. He will continue to play his best for as long as he is able.

God also called him to preach the Gospel over 20 years ago and he will preach until the Lord calls him home!

We have risen to this trial in our lives and desire to continue on with our music ministry for as long as God opens the doors for us to do so.

In 2015 the Lord asked us to record our second CD! It is called "Remember the Cross" and is also is available on our CD page.

In the fall of 2016, the Lord asked us to record two more CDs-

"A Moment in Time" and "Take Me Back and Leave Me There"-

Once more our Mother used her creative talents and designed both album covers, same as the first two. We pray these CDs will minister to your soul!

Our music is in God's hands and we lean on Him daily as we walk down the path that Jesus has asked our parents to walk over twenty-three years ago when he saved their soul. They have never looked back! Jesus never said the road would be easy, but through Christ, it is bearable and sweet. Each new person we meet becomes a part of us and gives us more reason to play on!

2018 brought two more CDs into our repertoire. The first one is a single written by our sister, Joy, and brother, Nathanael, about American Patriotism.  It is called "Because of the Brave" and is a must-hear song! If you know anyone who has served our country or is currently serving, this song will speak to your heart!!

It is available on our CD page.

Our next project was launched June 2018 and is called "This Old House."

It, too, is available on our CD page.

The Lord has truly blessed our family with the ability to make these CDs and allow them to be made available to be played in your home!

These past years have been quite joyful, very busy and full of many challenges. But with God, all things are possible. Our family very much enjoys playing music together and we look forward to what God will do with our family as the months go by.

We pray you will be blessed as you scroll through our website-and that you will consider us for any event you may have.

Our Journey Continues...

Yes, our  journey has continued on as we saw our brother, Lucas, leave for Basic Training in the United States Navy in October of 2016.

He completed his training to be a Machinist Mate on a Virginia Class submarine.

But, before he left we recorded two more CDs-

"A Moment in Time" which is a Gospel CD and

"Take Me Back and Leave Me There" which is a Traditional Bluegrass CD and has many banjo tunes to satisfy that wonderful sound of Lucas's playing that so many of you crave!

On the CD's tab you can now order these CDs.

Please keep our family in prayer as we keep on playing music for the Lord! Also, please keep Lucas in prayer as well as he serves our country in the US Navy!

In 2019, our brothers, Matthew and Nathanael, both enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. They will need a lot of prayers as well!

Thank you again for your love and support of our family!

Whether or mot our family music ministry continues, with the girls left at home or in another capacity, is in the hands of God.

God Bless You!
